:: This just in... the sitcom Wilfred, Elijah's first venture into television has been picked up by FX for a full season starting next summer! You can read more about it here.
:: Also gaining some speed is the movie, The Home in which Elijah is co-producing and several veteran actors have been announced as starring in the horror film.
:: Those high res photos from The Lord of the Rings reunion I was hoping for never quite showed up, but there are a couple nonetheless. [1] [2]
:: Speaking of movie reunions, from my personal favorite Everything Is Illuminated, Alex (Eugene Hutz) and Jonathan recently reunited.
:: Any fan of Elijah's knows how much he loves photography (a passion very close to me) and he attended the Diana World Tour in LA last week. That's Diana the camera of course. See if you can spot Elijah in the last two photos. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
:: Going to be in LA this weekend? The Art of Elysium will be holding its fifth annual Halloween Ball and you guessed it, Elijah again will be in attendance as deejay.
:: First reported on a month ago, The History Channel's WWII in HD: The Air War in which Elijah provided his voice talents along with Sean Astin and others, will air on that channel in November. Here's a photo from the recording session.
:: Lastly, it looks like Elijah will be suiting up once more to participate in the 24 Hour Plays next month in New York City. He was among the actors in 2008 and was scheduled to perform last year, but had to drop out due to filming The Romantics.
:: Thanks to Dainty Rouge, Karin and Overlithe this time.
That's all... for now.

"They remember New Zealand, and the most exhausting, exhilarating years of their lives."
:: A quote taken from a special issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine as they spotlight among others, the cast of The Lord of the Rings, eleven years after the first scene was shot. We have scans from the magazine. I was supposed to receive some high res photos from this shoot, but they didn't come in time for this update. Hopefully, I'll edit this to add them or include them in the next one.
:: There's also a video during the photo shoot with Elijah, Sean and Dom here as well as a download of it.
:: Cable networks CNN and Headline News (HLN) will present a special on these Hollywood reunions tonight and tomorrow. (10-16, 10-17)
:: Remember Elijah on the shooting range in Austin from the last update? Well, here are some more pics. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
:: Oh, and one last karaoke song from Elijah during Fantastic Fest. Girl U Want
:: Many thanks to Karin, Overlithe, Patrick, Primswood and Telstar.
That's all... for now.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a lovely vacation and celebrated my birthday in style, but I didn't come close to the amount of fun Elijah had over last weekend and there's a lot to cover from it.
:: Elijah was a judge and presented awards at the Fantastic Fest, a week long extravaganza celebrating horror, fantasy, sci-fi and action films in Austin Texas and there's a lot of pics from it. As you can see, he had a blast participating in many activities.
:: How about some rip-roaring, "good times to be had" videos? Karaoke singing here, here and here and whatever in the world is going on here and here. There is however a slightly more professional video that's available for download. It's the actual awards ceremony. Or you can watch it here. Skip ahead to about 58 minutes and then the 49 minute mark to see Elijah. Be advised, the sound quality is not good.
:: Elijah took in some shooting not of the filming variety while in Austin. They even developed a spoof poster from it.
:: Before Elijah took his party mode to the max in Austin, he and co-star of The Romantics, Jeremy Strong made an appearance at the premiere of the film in San Fransisco.
:: Here's a quote from TV executive Rich Frank on the making of the pilot Wilfred:
"The pilot was shot in Venice and used the back of a church for some scenes. None of the actors had trailers, and the crew had to contend with the noise of jets flying overhead.
Instead of taking 12 takes, we take two or three and move on," Frank said. "The pilot looks as good as anything else on the air and it cost less than half what I would normally produce it for. And the best part is that we are doing it here in Los Angeles at a time when everyone else is leaving California."
:: Lastly, I've made screen caps and updated the Movie Stills sections for Bobby and Day Zero as well as adding a few new images from The Romantics. Check out the behind the scenes from this film as well. More high res images have been added.
:: Thanks goes to Jaramajo, Karin, Moonagh, Overlithe and Patrick for relentlessly bringing all the goodies this time. I hope I kept up. This was difficult after a vacation.
That's all... for now.
