June 28, 2020

As early as April, it was rumored that Elijah was to begin filming a new movie just as lock-downs were taking place. While still unknown, I posted about the film and Elijah's part in it. Recently, that film, No Man of God was offically confirmed by its writer, Robert Cargill, a close friend of Elijah's. He tweeted, "We've been friends for a lot of years and I'm over the moon that I finally get to make something with him." No word yet on when filming may start.

:: Beginning Monday, June 29, Quibi will show a "homemade" reenactment of The Princess Bride in which Elijah has a part in. Before you get upset, this is not deemed as another Hollywood remake, but the story being played out by over 40 actors around their homes with makeshift sets, costumes and props shot during the quarantine, which will be a unique watch. We all have played out our favorite films from time to time, but with this one, funds will go to charity. Check out Vanity Fair to get all the details and see a few clips which are hilarious.

:: Elijah is still sending out his Cameo greetings. This lovely one for Father's Day, and why not get Elijah to promote your product?

:: There have been some old interviews being posted to YouTube. There's a press junket in 1994 for The War and in 1996 for Flipper.

:: Thanks to Dyadpro for posting these photos of Elijah getting back into his hobbit ears for the AT&T commercial. [1] [2]

:: Most know by now that we recently lost a great actor, Sir Ian Holm. The veteran of stage and screen, big and small, passed away June 19th at the age 88. Not quite as old as Bilbo, but for a human, it's a long and accomplished life. Elijah tweeted, Farewell, uncle and Peter Jackson posted a couple of image of himself with Elijah and Ian who is off on another adventure. [1] [2]

That's all... for now.

Recently, Elijah had a very personal and candid conversation with his two buddies, Eric Vespe and Scott Wampler, about the screen version of Stephen King's Misery, and how fans can occasionally cross the line. In The Kingcast podcast, the trio covers many other things while diving into one of our favorite films.

:: Since he announced it a couple of weeks ago, Elijah has been busy on Cameo sending heartfelt greetings to people. Here are a few that he's done. [Video 1] [Video 2] [Video 3] [Video 4] [Video 5] and this one being my favorite. Graphic Design... YES!

:: Other Lord of the Rings cast-mates on Cameo are Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and John Nobel.

:: If you missed it or just want to see it again and again, The Lord of the Rings cast on Reunited Apart is on YouTube.

That's all... for now.
